Training
At All Things Equitable we can provide training and education in a variety of formats━online via webinar, in a facilitated workshop or in a keynote address. We also have the ability to develop interactive online learning modules.
We always train and educate through a lens of human rights and equity and we always present the current best practices in the diversity, equity, and inclusion arena.
Our trainers are academics, trained lawyers, policy advisors, and educators. We have the skills to explain diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts in practical ways to ensure everyone in your organization is operating from the same understanding. We provide the tools to make it easier for employees at all levels of an organization to understand the impact of their actions on the workplace and by making our training programs engaging, we help them absorb training information willingly, rather than because it is an exercise in compliance.
We provide training on the following topics:
Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
Anti-Black Racism
Anti-Oppression
Attitudinal Barriers (overt, covert, microaggressions, gas-lighting, virtue signaling, Karen concepts etc.)
Barriers to inclusion

We strive to be a leader in accessibility and will ensure all training materials we provide are consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Ontarians Disabilities Act, 2001, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and their respective regulations in order to achieve accessibility for people with disabilities.
We meet employees where they are in terms of their learning needs and we have unique ideas to create safe spaces for open dialogue or restorative justice. Whether foundational knowledge is needed, a deeper dive or a practical understanding, our consultants will work with you to customize training materials to suit your needs.
We believe that because people are constantly changing and evolving, cultural competency has no end. We will support your organization’s commitment to continuous learning and we are happy to work with you again and again.
“Janelle did an exceptional job of utilizing a wide variety of techniques to ensure our students were engaged. I along with my fellow colleagues were thrilled to have Janelle speak to our students and we look forward to hopefully having her back in the future!”

“It’s always challenging to train virtually – but Janelle did so very well.”
